I wanna know if THESE fans are any good, because I'm considering getting 4 of them to light on my 400C. They are the cheapest LED fans I could find here, nearly $10 each. I would be pairing them with THIS fan hub, also DeepCool.

Silent wings 2 or pure wings 2 whatevere they are called. Quiet and quality for like 12 bucks a pop.

Not in stock, not even listed. I live in Argentina, so it's pretty complicated to get imported things for the right price, even made in China things, these are the cheapest LED fans made by a decent brand I could find.

Under $10 there are some Id-Cooling crappy looking fans along with others made by some shady asian brands, and for $15 there are some Arctic F14s PWM.

Are you getting them only for lighting or did you need an upgrade in cooling?

What are your specs and temps?

The Windblades aren't any better than the stock fans but more fans will mean better cooling.

The 4pin pwm version will work fine with the fan hub but the 3pin version would just run at 100%.

Both things actually, my motherboard only has 1 case fan header so I didn't plug any of the ones included with the 400C. I have a GTX 960 and a Celeron, but I will get an i5 on holidays, the graphics card gets quite hot to the touch while playing GTA IV, Afterburner shows 40°C idle and 70°C load.

I have had 3-pin fans connected to PWM headers before and I was always able to control them via software, as far as I know 3-pin fans follow the main profile speeds, such as Silent and Performance, so I don't know.

Your temps are fine. It doesn't take high temps for things to be too hot to touch.

What motherboard do you have?

ASRock H110-HDV R3.0, it has only 1 case fan header.

Are you having any trouble controlling the case fans from that header? If not, you could just get a splitter for the stock case fans.

I didn't even try, because I thought it would be pointless to have an intake without an exhaust or viceversa, but the header should work just fine. Now I'm considering getting a new case, the Pro M TG, the 400C's acrylic window is driving me crazy because it's too dusty, would it be an upgrade?

About the fan hub, I actually want to get one because I plan to install 4 fans as soon as I can so I can achieve optimal airflow.

Are you having dust issues inside or outside of the side panel? Changing the case shouldn't make much of a difference as long as your intakes are filtered.

The stock case fans are alright already. 4 fans isn't necessary for optimal airflow.

The dust builds outside the panel, I read it's because of the acrylic's static properties.

It shouldn't build up static if left alone. Just ground the side panel.

I also read it's a lot more scratchable than tempered glass, and I had to experience that myself sadly. The thing is that it's not a bad case at all, but I think a tempered glass panel and more space inside are worth it, though considering I got the 400C as a birthday gift. So selling it a bit cheaper and saving that money for future upgrades sounds like a good idea, if so then next month I'll be buying the Pro M TG, what do you think?

Aesthetics are subjective. Both cases are similarly functional.
