Regret getting Ryzen?

Anyway, back on topic.  If Coffee Lake was readily available and at MSRP, I'd say try returning Ryzen, but it isn't.  Ryzen CPU's are still great.  Something doesn't have to be "the latest and greatest" to be a good choice.  Buyer's remorse hasn't existed in the CPU market for a long time, but everyone feels it at some point.  There will always be something better out there, and part of buying a PC means accepting that.

Yep yep yep. I'm currently using an X58 system, no problems and totally happy with it. Latest and greatest is cool, but old stuff works about the same in real world use.

Your bottleneck is the GPU for 1080p at 60 fps. No reason to upgrade your CPU which will require a new mobo as well.
