8700k or bust. Literally best bang for your buck right now. For both gaming and productivity. But right now they are all out of stock. But if you waited and got it for retail price, I'd say you could easily but if you waited for sales you could do a 8700k + 1080. Maybe even 1080Ti if you really go barebones on other components. But I'll let others chime in with a PCPartPicker link.
