What software does LTT forums run on? Also, was the site built from the start or a template was used?

Invision Power Software Community Suite.

 

It's a paid forum which is developed and sold to customers. LMG is a customer of Invision Software.

 

That being said, the LTT forums in particular is heavily modified by Mortis and the Forum team.

 

 

It's really super duper expensive and not worth getting unless you're making a lot of money from it.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
