BF4 PTFO

Why is it that nobody ever seems to play the objective in this game??
It does my head in getting stuck on squads that wont set objectives and just walk around in circle the whole game...
Not to mention the basically free points you get from following squad orders..

Anyone else noticed this?

What pisses me off when i try to PTFO some prick doing worse then me says his team is shit, i check the scoreboard and they have 1 kill 20 deaths.

PTFO for PTFO's sake is no way to play the game. Personally, I won't throw myself needlessly at the objectives if I'm on a losing team. Just killwhore till the ticks run out

 

I think people just don't understand how to maneuver tactically. That and some people just enjoy sitting back and can't be bothered to take the aggressive or directly supportive postures. 

 

It is particularly shitty though when you find yourself alone and surrounded by lazy blueberries and a squad that seems to dart in opposite directions at spawn. No cohesiveness I tell ya's

 

PERSONALLY, I care more about killspread than points. Not like Bad Co 2 where they did the smart thing and hid your kill/death from the lobby leaderboard so the only way to be impressive was to rack up insane amounts of points! But if you're gettin points, you're doing something right. But if you're not going atleast 2 to 1 in adversarial modes, you're contributing negatively or thus negating your reason for being

Its bit weird how BF4 teamplay works on public servers. Most times its players going for frags and so camping outside flag areas or concentrating fight on flags where are most opponents. Sometimes its more flag hopping (bf2 reference) where they go for flags far from fight where they get easy flag capping points. Anyway in public players mind there's no such term as defence. I mean you can see from Deploy screen where opponent is taking flags. You can spawn there as long as your team has flag. Usually theres only one squad or less taking flag. Thats easy 2-5 kills plus defence & teamplay points.

 

I play mostly with TS3 full of friends. Sometimes we have 2 squads either all on same side or at opposing teams. And we usually top scoreboards both with kd and points. Sometimes it feels as we are only squads capping flags or going for objectives and whole other team is just sitting hiding. But I can understant if their virtual p***s grows with kd ratio...

I usually start my own squad and kick everyone who goes Recon. Every time I lose a round after seeing Recons on my team, I die a bit inside.

Bf4 is odd, i go crazy aggresive with recon, mainly because i need the C4 due to the stupid amount of vehicles in bf4 which i really dont like. I just have decent aim so i can kill a lot of people with the M40 due to headshots and stuff like that,or just catch them with their pants down with the pistol.

Your best bet is to team up with just a single friend, or a bunch, just 2 players can win a match for their team.

This frustrates the shit out of me i swear everyone i get in a squad with just have tunnel vision on don't pick up when they are being flanked. like we will be pushing the other teams 2 base flags (conquest large) and a couple guys get behind us and start capping our 2 base flags i feel like im the only one that goes back to try and stop them anyone want to party up i have a 2.4 KDR and 1505 SPM and always capping flags trying to win games
