Hey guys, I recently upgraded to a 1080ti ftw3 and noticed the card started sagging. So I went looking for a solution and came across the masteraccessory VGA holder. It's intended for certain cooler master cases only but I made it work in my Phanteks evolv atx. I bought this holder because I wanted something invisible, and thought about mounting it on the back side and through the grommet since my card is long enough. Here is the result: no sag anymore and you can't even see the holder.

unless the FTW3 is somehow massively heavier then the FTW i cant say i see a real need for this, just tighten the screws enough and you are good, no? my FTW never sagged any noticable amount. guess the backplate may have been more solid?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

@Bananasplit_00 The FTW3 is triple fan and I believe a bit longer. Also the backplate is in 2 seperate pieces so doesn't really add much support. I'm not saying I had huge sagging, but it was noticeable when you looked at the cpu cooler and also the horizontal lines on my asus formula mobo.

This is probably one of the best solutions I've seen. I like how it's quite discrete unlike other solutions that screw into the expansion slots or sit on the floor of the case. Glad to see that it works for other cases too.

the first thing people comment when they enter my room

is that a block of wood in your pc?
