So I've finalized my plan for my 12 servers in one 

build as mentioned in that thread. I just wanted the community to look over my build before I invest in it.

Final Specs:

Dual Xeon X5690 @ 3.4GHz 6 Cores

64 GB DDR3 Hynx MT42GR7BMR4C-G7 RAM        is it ECC? I couldn't find information on that

Gigabyte GA-7TESM Mobo

400W ATX PSU

2U Server Chassis

4 Seagate 4TB HDDs in RAID 5

Not sure on coolers, they come with my mobo...

600VA UPS

It says Server RAM which most likely means ECC. Also, i would go with atleast a 500w; Both Xeons alone take 260W and the motherboard may take a good amount too. You may want fans for the heat sinks also. The server chassis has 2.5in bays and your HDD's are 3.5in.

 

That's all i can see but there may be more to think about.

 Laptop: Macbook Pro Retina 2013, i7 4558U, 8GB 1600MHz, Intel Iris Pro 1.5GB, Apple 256GB NVME, Mojave

 

 Internet: $70/month For 500/100, Actually get 525/102

The RAM is registered and ECC. The RAM will also fit into the motherboard since it accepts registered RAM. 

 

Your disks will NOT fit the chassis.

 

Edit: Please get a better PSU and chassis.
