FULLY RGB WATER COOLING - EVEN THE FITTINGS!

I hope you're joking about the reasons you think the anti-RGB video got slated. I hope it's bait, it's definitely bait. Some people disliked that you ruined working stuff, but mostly I think people were insulted with sloppy writing, poor jokes that were repeated multiple times, and the general non-content nature of the video. Doing a cheesy bit or two in a video is par for the course for the channel, and in limited quantities it works, but that video is a shining example of way too far. It's insulting that you thought the audience would respond well to it. Think Mighty Number 9 saying "like an anime fan on prom night", it's that level of insulting. Other videos that took it too far in my mind include the one where you took a desktop on a camping trip and covered it in camo netting, and the 10 minute advert masquerading as a toast goof. I know humour is subjective but man. It would be helpful if you labelled non-content as such in the title, the same goes for ads (I know all your vids have ads and sponsored hardware etc, but I mean at least the toaster vid should have had #ad in the title).

This video was better. I don't give a toss about RGB, but I watched it for the build porn, even if the build itself was nothing special. The intro was only mildly triggering, and I only had to skip 2 minutes of ads. B- ;)

I registered on this forum specifically to say my piece about the anti-RGB video weeks ago. Take it how you want, but I'm coming from the place of being a fan, pointing out what I see as mistakes in the hope that you minimise them in the future.

Most of their content recently has either been a poor script of someone talking about a badly done project, or just ads/reviews of products that manufacturers asked them to review such as the crappy laptops. I could buy much better laptops second hand for less $$ in reasonably mint condition.

If you had actually done the Anti-RGB video sensibly, and disconnected/desoldered/disabled most of the leds and tastefully painted what was left/odd colored parts, it would have been a much better video.

Just painting poorly chosen parts such as corsair HD fans and a white case was utterly stupid. Painting the motherboard was just about the dumbest thing I have ever seen. It was black/grey to start with anyway!!!!!

Not to mention the terrible jokes, if they can be called jokes. Last time I checked, the definition of a joke is that is is funny.

Even as is the video would have been much better with some footage of linus actually screwing around, trying (failing) to paint things.

There wasn't any content to the video. There was probably 2-3mins of actual content:

We chose parts that made no sense given the premise of the build.

We found some paint, and did a very poor job of painting the parts.

We killed the hardware.

Then obligatory porn shots.

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.

The RGB build guide was complete RGB goodness, but is it possible to create a FULL RGB watercooling loop?
