Casual Gaming GPU

For my brother I want to get him off of my mother's laptop. I got a old system (core 2 duo, 4gb of RAM and a 160gb HDD). He likes to play games like minecraft, terraria,tf2, and other casual games. I would like to spend a little as possible. The system also need a new PSU so right now there is no power limit. He will be playing on a big tv (not HD) and GPU requires a dvi output. Right now I have a spare gf 9500 gt with 256mb or RAM. Can that gpu work for a tv. If so please tell. Thanks for helping, and have a good day/night.

Get something like a 660 or a 760

7770 or 7850/7870 depending on budget would be a good choice.

Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

Shopping can be ebay, tigerdirect (in store preferably), newegg. I would like to spend under 70, maybe closer to 50 USD

Maybe 7790 as well as they are at times as cheap as 7770's.

Maybe 7790 as well as they are at times as cheap as 7770's.

I have a 5550 and it can play the games a lowish setting at 720p. what about a 6000 series card. I would like it to be cheap but let him play CASUAL games.

The card i linked is a 560Ti, it is faster than the 7770 posted here, and is a good deal for the money, it will play games without any issues.

The 9500 gt was abile to play tf2 at high setting @ 1280x1240. Also I was able to play minecraft on a 4200 integrated chip. What about a 6670 or something around that price (50-60)
