If you only want it in your pc, get some SSD's and if needed a sata-controller that you can put in a PCI-E slot.

If you want to make it locally available in your network. Upgrade everything to 10gbps basically and make your own NAS with a 10gbps NIC.

I assume you mean 5 gigabit and not 5 gigabyte, if you want 5gigabyte you can only keep it in your pc. A PCI-E SSD is the only thing that can handle that. Network isn't an option unless you have a LOT of money.

 

Anyway, it won't be cheap. You'll need some enterprise-grade hardware and that stuff is expensive...

 

Maybe explain how you want to access the storage would help...

How much storage do you want and what motherboard do you have?

Also, just so you know, it's unlikely you'll be able to boot from it because it's going to be a raid config with nvme drives and booting from such config is still really new.
