Need help with RGB LED Strips

I brought a rgb led strip the other day and the 44 key remote stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix. One thing I have noticed is that everyone that I've watched on youtube that has the same problem has taken this battery, which has made me think that maybe its a memory issue with the remote and that I possibly need to reprogram it or something along those lines. So if anyone knows how to do that it would be great. I know that the light strip isn't the problem because it still works on the color that it was last changed to. It maybe he receiver but I don't know. Any ideas, tips or possible fixes anyone has would be a big help.

it's unique remote controller, so it works for all LED strips
maybe the battery is dead or bad remote controller or the receiver of signal, nothing else can't be

i had the same problem. I made them into smart strips in my home automation. But battery change can't hurt. 

The problem can be that the controller itself is bad.
