first of all i live in Indonesia and the price of hardware here is super crazy
please choose which one of these build is better value and make more sense to you

im planning to use this pc for gaming and media consumption around 2 years, might sell it later or buy the laptop and take it to korea later.
i can save 4.000.000 ( 272 ) per month, yea i know try to live here mate
no matter how hard i think about this i just cant make up my mind
so please gentleman, and madam if there's any help this poor soul

im currently using 
CPU - xeon e5440 oc @3.1ghz
Mobo - asus p5g41c m-lx
Memory - 2x2gb ddr3
GPU - r7 250 
Storage - wd 500gb
PSU - generic 500w

* will the asrock mobo oc as good as the msi one?? also will deepcool gamax 300 better than wraith spire if i oc it?

The Ryzen would be a better choice from the two desktops.

Don't waste money on an aftermarket cooler, the stock one will be fine. Both the boards should be fine for OC'ing that chip.

I say buy the Ryzen desktop for now, then buy a thin and light laptop before you go to Korea, gaming laptops are too bulky to carry around IMO.

 

What are you going to Korea for? Just wonderin

@RKRiley the cooler is in my build right now, so it doesnt matter
so asrock board it is then, and how high can i expect to get from r3 with ambient 29~32 celcius?

its the cheapest 500w 80+b i can find here, 1stplayer
or cougar will be better? its 50.000 more expensive then the above
corsair, cm, be quite costs more than 1.000.000 ( 74 ) other brand is none existing here
either that or cheapo psu @Megah3rtz

My recommendation is to save up and buy the Dell, but I'm biased toward laptops. :P

That actually isn't a bad idea, because PC parts are pretty decently priced in Korea, although it is not as cheap as in the US. But that build should last you a while. GL man!

man, really envy you guys living in US
all the parts are cheaper and its easier to save up and buy it
before the 10 series i dont even look at laptop
but laptop nowdays are not too shabby
