Also wait for Coffee Lake or get a Ryzen 5 1600 instead. The 7600k just isn't worth it.

Intel has announced that Coffee Lake desktop cpu will launch October 5. An i5-8600K will have six non-hyperthreaded cores, (up to 4.4GHz), and should sell for around US$260. It will need a Z370 motherboard.

 

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
