pcie Wi-Fi Card For PC

So my friend has this motherboard, https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2pnG3C/gigabyte-ga-ab350-gaming-3-atx-am4-motherboard-ga-ab350-gaming-3, and he wants a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth PCIe card. He will need 802.11ac for 5GHz wifi and the Bluetooth for Xbox controllers and etc. He will have around 60 US $. It can fit in the available 1x and 16x PCIe slots, top 16x is taken by a GPU. He will need something that can do 300MB/s Megabytes per second.

Agree with blackholefox and just for your terminology I think you mean megabits (mbps), not megabytes (MB/s) 100mbps is 12.5 MB/s, most internet providers use mbps, but people who dont know as much think it is megabytes and with 100mbps they think they can download a movie in 10 seconds. Kind of a scam imo, but welp

he will also be using this to access NAS and other lan stuff like Xbox streaming to Win10

he only has 45Mb/s on speedtest...

You're not going to find that wired. The card listed above uses an Intel 8260 wireless m.2 card on it, and that's one of the highest end wifi cards available, but it *still* can't do 300MB/s

 

The 8260 on wireless AC, with a matching AC router, with no other clients, with a perfect connection to the router, with 2x2 MIMO streams, before overhead, tops out at 867Mbps. That's Megabits, not megabytes, so 108MBps. And that's in perfect conditions.

 

You'd need a 10GBps wired NIC to get 300 MBps.

Well even a Gigabit line won't do 300MBps... 1Gbps = 0.125GBps = 125MBps.
