Linux Garbled Screen Boot

So I am trying to launch and install Linux on my Desktop. When I boot the installer from my flash drive, it starts normally, switches to a DOS-like screen then starts printing garbled data and doesn't boot at all. I tried turning off Secure Boot to see if that fixes it, it didn't do anything. I've tried switching my UEFI to BIOS mode (my UEFI says something about boot mode and Normal and BIOS), that didn't work, and I have no idea what to do. The first few readable lines say the following:

ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUM.HS11] Namespace lookup failure.

ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog.

ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, (SSDT:xn_rup0B) while loading table.

*Garbled data*

Brah, do you even Java?
