New build, trying to install w10 with usb, usb not recognized

I think the fix was that I inserted it before starting the computer

(I also re installed the boot files)

New build. All usb ports works with my keyboard and mouse but my pc wont detect my 1 month old usb drive with w10 boot files on it. It doesnt even show up. Have also tried every USB port.

Help pls

As long as the file is .iso it should be bootable.  Format the drive as FAT32 file system and redownload the windows 10 iso file
