AIO maintenance?

Bought my H110 over 4 years ago (i know, not that old). I've read there is no maintenance required, but i just wanted to hear what you guys think. Does the performance ever degrade? How much longer does it have? Anyone do maintenance on theirs besides dust cleaning? (I.E flushing fluids, refilling, etc)

Do you see any performance degradation? If not, then no maintenance is needed.

I don't believe you could perform maintenance even if you wanted to, since it wasn't designed with that in mind. They're so cheap that you'd just go out and buy a new one.

You can't refill them.

All you can do is clean out the dust from the rad and replace the AIO if it fails.

I've had  my H100i for like 6 years now or something crazy like that, still working fine.

Cool, i dont see any degradation in temps. I guess i just wanted to stay proactive in preventing any type of failures, but i guess with these AIO's it's kinda inevitable after awhile. Might switch to a beefy air cooler sometime in the future after mine goes out and not worry about failing pumps ever.

some come with drain ports like some of the deepcool systems have them. i always assumed u could refill them. or do what jesse at jpmodified does and just cut the tube and do it by hand with new tubing

Those are not regular AIOs, those are expandable AIOs, and in general almost all of them suck.

 

If you cut the tubing and replace it then you should also start saving up to replace all your components when they die from a leak.
