What is "push-pull"

Push pull is typically used to describe having fans mounted on both sides of a radiator. One fan pushes air into it and the other pulls from the back.

 

Honestly just getting a good static pressure fan or two makes the push-pull method less practical in the sense that it's less worth it.

I've been thinking about it for my next next upgrade, since the case I want doesn't even support a Dark Rock 3 or 212 EVO. What is this "push pull" thing since I want the air going through the radiator to go into the case.

Push/pull depends on the location of the fans. If they're on top of the rad blowing in, they are push. If they're under the rad as intake, they are pulling.
