Does c1000 coolant still clog help!

I ordered a bottle of blue c1000 a few days ago before I found out the product has a 90% chance to turn into a cloggy mess.  My gpu is a pre-installed block with a Asus void if removed tag over one screw so I can't even clean the card block without voiding warranty.

It's hard to say for all cases but the thermaltake components are not exactly the best regard in terms of watercooling.

Yea that's what I've started to hear alot.  Think I'll stick to water and a kill coil since my loop is all copper

Kill coil and distilled water is a good option then, I would suggest if you are looking into pastel coolants is to get Mayhems they've got a pretty good history.

yea i just got home from being out for the weekend, found out singularity PC that is a Australian company actually has a parts store that sells mayhem for decent pricing.

for the time being how long can i survive on a kill coil and distilled water before something goes funny? i dont have a issue draining the loop every month or so i tend to do a full dedusting then anyway

It'll be alright if you're ide to change the fluid afterwards. Just be sure to clean out the loop before refilling.

They didn't let me cancel the thermaltake c1000 and it arrived today.  Has a heap of this white pigment stuff at the bottom. Of the bottle.  Not sure if that's the cloggy stuff that feel to the bottom and the rest is OK?

That's not ideal, the pigment can settle out if left for a long time of inactivity but it's it's clumped and readily settles then I wouldn't use it.

I was thinking more like it going a little transparent but I'm not sure what that is then. I guess if you want to give it a try with that stuff you can but if it clogs or settles out your going to have to tear down the loop to clean it out.

Does it resuspend in the fluid with a couple of shakes, I know Mayhems pastel does that too if left for long periods of time but just mixed right back in without issue.

its like a powder that when shaken returns to the coolant. but the color is not lost if it sits for days

Don't use a kill coil if you have ANY Nickel or Aluminum in your block or it will corrode and gunk up the loop.

That sounds somewhat normal then the pastels from Mayhems even after a while do settle if left for long periods of inacitivity.
