The company has won a contract to provide heat for 1,500 social houses in Bordeaux, France, and says“Ryzen Pro is producing the same heat as the equivalent Intel CPUs we were using while providing twice as many cores.”

Well, sounds like it actually just beats the previous (unnamed) Intels in performance per Watt, and they're switching because they have better performance, not more heat.

This sounds news-subforum worthy... totally not gonna swipe this at all...

ryzen has better performance/watt so you get less heat out of it. I suggest using the older power hungry and hot bulldozer as a heater, combined with one of AMD's very hot cards (perhaps vega 64).

Or if you can, combine threadripper or epyc with some vegas, channel them all to some huge radiator with fans or a big water tank.
