Technically, Xbox One is based off of R7 260X

PS4 is based off of  R7 265

Xbox One X uses a custom modified version of Polaris. Think of it as a slightly larger RX 580 but with 12GB VRAM.

 

The XBO X GPU die has roughly 22.2% more Stream processors.

The die has 2816 SPs on it but only 2560 are enabled on Retail Xbox One X consoles.

 

Developer Editions have all 2816 SPs enabled. My understanding is Microsoft tweaked the architecture to have a little bit less overhead.

I think your about right with the 360 and ps3. But I don't think they have as much vram (or shared ram in this case). I think they'd only have about 1 gB maybe 512 mB. Most intel HD graphics have 1.5 gB

Yes, they do use AMD chips.  I just made the comparisons in terms of NVidia's cards because they are better known.

That's like saying an iPhone 7 has the same amount of cores as an Intel core i5.

 

They're not comparable. Architectures are different, clockspeeds are different.

 

If AMD isn't well known enough then try to educate people.

And not because of the fact that almost every AMD GPU is either more expensive or inferior in the majority of benchmarks compared to the NVidia counterpart.

What is the Tegra x1 equal to in the PC world?  Keeping in mind that the x1 is underclocked to preserve battery life.
