Xbox one smart glass on xfinity hotspot

So at the moment I’m only an ke to connect my xbox one to and xfinity hotspot I’ve set it to use my iphones MAC address but when I go to use smart glass on my iPhone it won’t connect I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to get them to connect. I’ve already tried looking up the IP address but it doesn’t show my xbox.

Both devices need to be connected to the same WiFi network.

 

You would need to allow your Xbox to connect to your Phone's Hotspot but data usage can get expensive really quickly so I'd suggest switching Phone and Xbox to your local WiFi.

 

So long as you have 802.11n or better then you should be fine.
