Science Fair project ideas?

Thermosman

I am wondering if anybody has ideas for a honors level science fair project that I could do involving some type of technology or electronic components, preferably somewhat interesting and not too simple, or my teacher won't allow it.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

1) What level do you consider "easy"? Arduino/Pi stuff of Mindstorms?

2) If you want some hardcore, go for full DIY, which means that you will engineer your own boards, that will work 100%, yet requires a hell lot of a time to learn (or persistive education process).

You can build motorized gymbals on Arduino, smart home stuff... Anything you want, the only limitation is your imagination (and resources, but that's another story).

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Radiation. Like an earlier experiment from madam curie. Most smoke detectors contain radioactive elements for the ionization detector inside.

Thermodynamics. Overclock a cpu with liquid nitrogen. Show how it removes heat.

Audio. Show how noise canceling headphones work. I.e. repeating incoming sounds 180 degrees out of phase so they cancel each other out.

Electronics. Build a crystal diode receiver, itx computer, speaker or transceiver
