Internet connection

Ive been having this problem for a few days now and its starting to make me think its the internet provider but I dont know.

I try to play some games and it will kick me out of steam and log me back into steam, kicking me out of the game. This is what my steam chat looks like. I play rust most of the time and I get kicked out at about Receiving Data or about 20 seconds or a minute inside the game. Cant play rust at all right now.

Ive been searching the web for solutions and I havent found any what so ever.laErwSf.png

Is anything else online affected? Or just Steam?

My guess its an issue with the internet connection. What kind of Internet do you have (cable, DSL, WISP, LTE)? 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Yeah, but is it Coax or Phone. Depending on what kind of internet depends on if I can help you. I know how to diagnose stuff with Cable internet. If its DSL I cant help as Ive never used a DSL connection.

Contact your ISP. My guess is its a shitty wire somewhere. DSL is very finicky when it comes to poor wiring. 

 

Im sure some others will join in and give you more troubleshooting steps. But as it stands Im not sure how to interpret the modem diagnostic info on DSL.
