I think a 750 Ti outperforms it...  what are those going for?  That should be a good indication.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Went to buy a 660 ti for my friend. Guy was asking 60$. I checked tags and everything was fine, even said 660 ti on it.

Plugged it in, tested it and it's listed as a base 660 card...

My question is, is 60$ for a 660 base model still a deal?

does the nvidia control panel also say 660? not 660 ti?

I have a 750 ti, and the 660 base out performs it.

The  660 ti is supposed to be 20-30 percent better than the base model.

I'm seeing the average price on a 660ti at around the RX 460 price line.

Yes

Does it only come up as a 660 on startup, or is it consistent (startup, bios, gpu-z, device manager, etc).  Bios could've been modified by OEM, assembler, or previous owner, so I wouldn't necessarily get mad at the seller for it.

@ work right now, but I'll look into it when I get home. Performance has been that of a base model 660.
