hello,

my Windows search is acting really weird. i can search for stuff, and it will return results, but i can't open any of them.

i'm using a fully updated version of Windows 10 Pro, with cortana disabled, and web search disabled.

anything. if i type "word", and i comes up with it, and then click it, nothing happens. i have to go into the start menu, scroll down, and open Word that way... and it does this with everything.

How have you disabled Cortana and Search?

If you've modified the registry to do so then that could easily have caused this.

i used one of those Windows tweak apps that allows you to disable telemetry and all of that stuff, but it also did this when i  still had cortana enabled.

Ok. There is your answer. If you disabled Cortana the proper way then you wouldn't have this issue.

You can set your device to use Search and not Cortana without breaking the registry -_-.

I'm not entirely sure but this is how it looks on my laptop. I think the language isn't configured or something like that.
