I built my new PC on Monday night. It was working fine until last night when it started to power off randomly. It would attempt to turn itself back on sometimes shutting back off before anything appeared on the screen, other times working for a few minutes before shutting down. I had just been looking around in the system files out of curiosity (I'm not super knowledgeable about pc's), so I thought I must have accidentally deleted something. I tried a fresh install of windows and that seemed to fix the problem, it worked for a few hours last night and most of the day today without any issues. The same problem started happening again a few hours ago. I posted this on r/buildapc and I was told to rma the power supply but I wanted to get some other opinions.

Parts list:

Ryzen 5 1600

ASRock ab350m pro 4

Corsair vengeance rgb ram

SanDisk ultra II SSD

A Seagate barracuda from an old pc

EVGA GeForce gtx 1080 sc

EVGA supernova g3 550w

I'm on windows ten 64 bit and uefi version is ab350m pro4 p2. 50

Sorry if this is a bit long. Thanks in advance for the help.

most likely a PSU issue also clear your CMOS.

I just cleared my CMOS, reseated the ram, and made sure all cables were firmly plugged in to both psu and mobo/component.  I played overwatch for about an hour with no shutdown so fingers crossed.

Check your RAM and check if theres any metal touching any, ANY exposed pcb's. A bridged contact could shut it down.
