Ebay?

Ulfgar889

I am currently building a PC and i found my motherboard on Ebay and on Newegg. They appear to be the same, brand new motherboard but the Ebay ad was much cheaper. Should i trust Ebay or stick with Newegg?

EBAY is a site not a seller (newegg sells on ebay for example), who is the seller, what is there feedback like, how long have they been on ebay, is it new, refurbished or used? if it's something 27.77 for a 300 dollar board then it's a scam, if the seller uses the same dollar amount for every item they sell, it's a scam, if it's half the price while claiming to be a new in box, it's a scam or a slightly different far less featured model.

If it's too good to be true, then it typically is.

Custom pinewood case, Corsair CX 600WRampage 3 Extreme, i7 980x (@4.2ghz) with ML240 Cooler MSI GTX 970, 24gb DDR3, 240gb OCZ Tr150 SSD + 2Tb Seagate Baracuda.

Advocate for used/older hardware. Also one of the resident petrol heads.

It appears that the price has been lowered on Newegg, so thats a thing. Guess it won't be ab issue after all.

with the rebate might be better on Newegg.

If you care to look at links, they are both sold by Newegg. One ad is just on eBay and other directly at Neweggs own site.

but the one directly on newegg shows a rebate available, don't see anything about getting that rebate if you buy it from newegg on ebay.
