SD Card doesn't get recognise?

So My coworker has a SD card with wedding pictures, But the SD cards doesn't get recognise in windows\Mac\usb adapter!?

 

Anything we can do to recover the files !?

 

Is there any specialist that can recover the content?!

What's the model for the adapter, it may need drivers.

Maybe do some basic troubleshooting steps before handing it to an expensive data recovery specialist.

- does the adapter you're using work with other SD cards?

- does the card work in the camera?

 

Also, more info would be useful. Like what adapter are you using, does it show as an empty drive or not at all, does anything show up in disk management when you insert the card, have you tried any other steps, etc. 

Does you mum know you're here?

The adapter work with other cards, the SD card doesn't work in camera and other devices.


EDIT: It doens't appear in disk manager etc..
