Better material?

Im considering water cooling my loop, and am wondering what material to use (i.e. copper or aluminium). Any suggestions or experiences of which is better?

Al is cheaper but also harder to find stuff.

 

Go with a copper and/or nickel loop, more options.

Copper is better in terms of heat transfer than aluminum but if you use aluminum kits from say EK's fluid gaming options your loop must be an all aluminum loop to prevent galvanic corrosion. Copper and aluminum do not mix in a loop.

Copper.  Higher thermal conductivity and anti microbial.
