thats good to know, so the extra money can got on a better gpu. is there alot of dierence between a 1070/1080/1080ti?

Yes, each one is roughly 20% faster than one another. The 1080ti works out 90% faster than a 1060.

Don't get the cheapest card as next year it will already be rubbish for running AAA games.

as the title says can i have opinions on this.

i intend to OC to as close to the 4GHz maki i can i belive the max voltage is also +1.45?

also the board Supports DDR4 3733+(OC)*/3600(OC)/3200(OC)/2933(OC)/2800(OC)/2400**/2133 non-ECC, un-buffered memory. im guessing thet the ram will just run slower at 2933

im almost set on this build but my decide on a 1700x and/or a1080/1080ti

thank you

The PSU you've chosen is overkill. Not in wattage, so much as price to performance. You can get an EVGA Supernova 650W for cheaper. Aside from that, the build looks fine to me. My personal preference is to go Western Digital for hard drives (have had bad luck with Seagate) but that's more a personal opinion than anything else. I'd say go for it, unless you want a faster GPU!

Don't buy a 1700x/1800x, they are just oc'ed versions of the 1700. As for GPU, depends on what games and resolution you play at, but usually go for the best you can afford.

Nobody has ever said no to more frames ;)

Nothing wrong with it really, but:

  • Get an M.2 SSD instead, 960 Evo us fantastic.
  • Do you need the X370 chipset? A b350 is enough if you're not planning on SLI.
  • For strictly gaming the 7700k is better, but if you plan on doing rendering/coding/heavy tasks that require multiple cores you should stick to the 1700.

It looks pretty good! I'd recommend getting a 1080 because the price difference is rather minimal. Plus, who can so no to better performance?

i have already bought the board as im buying part by part every few weeks, an m.2 is being considered as an upgrade later on.

i was talked out of the 7700k on here actually they said something like the 7700k is as good as z270 is going to be as coffee lake is going to be using 300 series boards and wont be compatable with 200 series boards

He already bought the X370 motherboard, he can't really change the CPU socket.

If you could go with 1080p 60fps, a 1060 6GB would do.

this is good to know as i know if i was to go 4k  the scaling in games would make things hard to read from the distance i will be at,,, well untill i get a desk setup agin
