I have a dual xeon server build... That's probably all you need to hear. After months of troubleshooting I've gottwn nowhere. So I'm going to strip it for parts, heres what I think I can salvage:

8 stick 32gb kit of ripjaw ddr3 ram

 

1000watt silent pro gold.

 

Xfx r7870

 

And a pny 240gb ssd

 

But I still need a cpu and mobo. I would like something comperable to qhat I have now 4 physical cores with hyperthreading times two(two cpus) And after this massive headache something with onvoard graphics. Nothing to expensive but reliable. Any suggestions?

Might want to give us a price/budget. Curios what was the build for? 1000 watts, 7870 and dual cpu dual cores? Seems like it was like a scrap yard wars style build

Maybe the quality of the build says something about my budget... TBH I'm a student so... The best chipset I can reasonably afford is a dorrito. But lets be honest who sticks to a realictic budget.
