I was planing on just using one of my friends PCI-e cords but we realized that the way the pins were shaped made it so it could not fit in my PSU. I think that the PCI-e cord was from his EVGA PSU. I wanted to know if i ordered a PCI-e cord from cable mods, would I be able to make it so that it fits my PSU?
Don't try to use cables from different PSUs! You can either buy extension cables, sleeve them yourself or find someone who sells modded cabling, BUT you need to make sure it matches your PSU.
