Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone with knowledge about filming/camera could help me out. Which camera shall I go for? Blackmagic Design Cinema Camera EF or the Blackmagic Design Production Camera 4K.

First I just wanted to go with the BMCC but I have never seen 2.5K so it just feels a bit weird. (If it's just me tell me then :D)

Can someone with experience (none is also fine xD) tell me more about battery use, lenses etc.

Thanks!

By the way, it will be used profesionally.

My own build: RΛZΞR theme

There are a lot of movies that is recorded in 2,5k I belive.

Yep, they film in 2.5K and either scale down to FHD or scale up to 4K (but this also depends on the quality of the camera, i.e. the Alexa).

I'd forget about both cameras and get something else.  Up to how much are you willing to spend, not just on the camera body but also on necessary accessories?
