See if you can get higher clockspeed ram, a GTX 1060 3G is not the same as a GTX 1060 6G.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Get different ssd, psu is garbage, and higher speed ram would be preferred (but not necessary).

For psu you could look at stuff like the cx/cxm grey sticker units or Seasonic S12ii/m12ii

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I'd see if I could get a better GPU, but if you're stuck in that price range try to squeeze a little more for the 6GB.
RAM speed could be a little higher.
That SSD is fine honestly. Much better than a HDD, and you can upgrade to a better one down the line if it's really not getting the job done.

Intel i7 4790k, EVGA GTX 980ti, NZXT H440
Intel i5 7600k, Asus GTX 970 DC Mini, Silverstone SG13B

PSU...yea get maybe the EVGA G3 650 if possible or a Seasonic.

SSD - Samsung EVO 256 are pretty cheap actually now. I have 2 of them.

1060 - 6 Gb would be better indeed.

The rest of the specs look good, I don't really know anything at all about the Ryzen mobos... so... no advice on that... Great CPU though.

The CPU is kind of overkill (says the guy who has basically the same setup in his description). I would maybe swap for a core i5 or an R5 1400 and spend the extra cash on a better graphics card (a 6 gb GTX 1060, maybe even a 1070 if you find a good deal). You could also swap out for maybe an RX 580 if the cryptominers have finished with their insanity yet.

Everything I know I learned from the internet. Also school.

Current Desktop:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 @3.65 ghz, Cryorig H7

MoBo: Asus Prime X470-Pro

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super OC

RAM: 2x8 gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @2666mhz

PSU: 650W EVGA SuperNova

Storage: 120gb SK Hynix SSD, 240gb SanDisk SSD Plus, 1 TB 2015 WD Blue

Case: Corsair Carbide 100R

Peripherals: Logitech G Pro keyboard, Razer DeathAdder Elite, Logitech G305, Logitech G600, 24" AOC FreeSync 1080p monitor x2
