First of all let get this out of the way, I have this system:

R7 1700 @ 3.0 stock (with stock heatsink)

ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS Motherboard

8GB G.Skill RipjawsV 3000MHz RAM @ 2133MHz (for some reason don't ask)

MSI GTX 1050Ti OC bla bla edition not gaming one

120Gigs of SSD 35GB free

550W Corsair PSU

And a 1080p60hz Monitor...

Now I have a fresh clean install of Windows 10 on my PC and have all the drivers installed. I just downloaded a game last night from Windows Store, Forza 6: Apex, which I know its so much for this pc maybe but we'll get to that. I play this gmae at usually 60fps and no problem but from time to time theres frame drops, like it takes 10 times as much time to draw a frame than usual, makes me rage so much, so unstable.

So, I want you guys to all comment their Ryzen optimization tricks. I heard of something like disabling "High Precision Event Timer" in UEFI BIOS, is that true? Waiting for you so quick :)

update your bios, get your ram to the correct speed, disable HPET.

then see what happens.

i have a fix for micro-stutter, but that may not apply here

forza 6? is that a bad console port or was it optimized for pc?

also just experiment, try doing things until its fixed, disable the hjgh precision event timer

check to see if anyone else has had the problem

It's official PC game, not any port, got from the Windows Store. And I'm worried to try disabling it, that's why I asked in the first place. :D
