sounds like you got a bad motherboard

which means that the whole thing is fucked because lord knows what type of mobo you would need to buy that wouldn't be over 200$

did you buy it as "used: acceptable"?

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

Several of these servers disable vga output from the get go, The IKVM is probably active and pulled DHCP. Check your router's DHCP listing for something funky and pull that up as a web page.

Did some more digging, HP calls it Ilo (dell calls it Idrac etc...) it's an IP based keybord video and mouse (think remote desktop bios level)

Pictured here as #16. This port needs to be plugged into a network.

Hello all amazon was no help and the seller never responded to my numerous messages but the problem was the raid card somehow the heatsink fell off and in 10 seconds of boot it started to catch fire and smoking so i immediately turned it off and the card was burnt and the raid batteries were extremely puffy which is very bad and i could've killed myself but i took it out and at the second now windows is installing thank you for all of your help and i will be writing a review on amazon about what happened if anyone ever gets this server immediately take the raid card out and also take the battery if u want to survive.

Thanks,

Captianjigglesworth
