For some reason on newegg there are several different listings of the 1080 founders edition all from different manufacturers. Why is this? I thought a founders edition was a founders edition. And 3rd party manufacturers like MSI have yet to make any adjustments to the PCB or cooler.

The Founders Edition card is a spec that Nvidia sets that any third party manufacture can build and sell.  Then from there they can make their own PCBs and put whatever components they want.  The Strix, Amp or SC2 versions of cards are all aftermarket PCBs with the same GPU.  Make sense?
