ATX case for server motherboard

Hello,

 

I dont wont to bore you with all the details, here is the thing:
How to stuff ASUS P5L8L DP MB into ATX case, i have a spare ATX case that i can mod prehaps,
thing is i didnt buy it yet (its dirt cheap like 2 eur) so i want to know in advance could it be possible to mount it in ATX case

its hard to find specs for this mobo so ill put a picture
supposed dimesions are 35.56 x 22.86 x 2.54 cm or 14 x 9 x 1 inches

Server motherboards don't really mix well with ATX cases. At best you're looking at completely modding the existing case to fit the motherboard.

That looks to me like a board from a rackmount server and those use pretty odd form factors (mostly proprietary)

I would just make a custom case for it, it will be tons more easier for it

Mobo looks really old, LGA775. This is for Pentium 4 or core 2 duo? Not worth the time at all.

You don't.

And why would you want to??

 

It's a totally proprietary board design, but it only has a shitty i945GC chipset wich only supports around 3GiB Memory (does NOT have memory remapping!)

So it's a rather shitty mainboard anyway...

 

Something similar should be obtainable on every corner - in µATX...
