I have a A-10 5800k as my CPU and after the funeral of my 270X I bought the GTX 1050 ti as a replacement for 270X. I uninstalled all AMD drivers and download the driver for my GTX 1050 ti. I can't install the driver for my 1050 ti it says installation failed. I opened the device manager and there was no "Display Adapter" I tried to add the Display Adapter by click the Add Legacy Hardware but it keeps removing the Display Adapter. Under device manager > other devices there's a caution warning for "Video Controller (VGA Compatible)" I believe that's my GPU but not detected for Display Adapter. I'm using an adapter HDMI to VGA because my monitor is only VGA.

Use DDU to uninstall all drivers from your PC first and it should be fine
