As the title says, I want a dark mode theme for the white file explorer and one that is safe to use that won't brick my system.

Is uxstyle safe to use as in it won't break my system?

The only way to do this currently is to use a windows theme, such as

Penumbra 10 - Windows 10 visual style

or

W10 Day and Night Visual Styles

There is always the risk that windows will install an update that has issues with uxstyle or any other patcher and possibly brick your system.

If you do not have regular backups of your data then you probably want to avoid using custom windows themes.

Currently I use penumbra with ultrauxthemepatcher and the only issues I've had are some text in menus not showing up after waking from sleep, maybe like 1 in 10 times.
