Is a 1200w pay overkill?

So I was looking at getting a 1200w PSU probably from corsair but was wondering for a dual 1080 with i9 and 128gb ram would that be overkill or just enough.

I have a 1080 ftw2, it'll pull the better part of 250 watts OC x2 is 500w + an i9 say 150w+ , go with an 850 for peace of mind or a 1000

Although if you can afford a high end i9 and dual 1080s you are probably watercooling it and have lots of extras... a 1000w is fine then over that however is completely a waste unless you are going for a super high end silent build where the psu doesn't spin until its got half load on a 12-1600w pus...

Cost isn't a big deal for me as my PC is on the desk for display and soon-to-be RGB vomitus.

It's from a Pokemon lets play he used to watch, and they caught an Ampharos. Back then, there was a character limit but they wanted to called it Storm from X Men. So they took out the vowels
