Should I start mining litecoins?

So my rig specs are in my sig and power here isn't really an issue. Also, how do I start? Do I just download litecoin QT? Are there any mining programs I need to install? I'm new at any kind of coin mining so all help is appreciated.

Not sure how to do it with nvidia. There are a few guides on this forum.

i wouldn't recommend it with nvidia cards, you will barely make anything..

 

i made like 0.3 ltc in 2 days but yes ati is better.

exactly my point lol 0.3 isn't really much 

 

i have made another 0.2 ltc in 1 day :) so at my rate i will hit 1 ltc in three days so i will make 1 ltc in 5 days. and in one month 5
