Arctic Silver 5 on GPU?

Hey, so I was wondering if I could apply AS5 on my GPU? I know that it is non-conductive, however it is capacitive. Would that cause problems, since the GPU doesn't have a heatspreader?

Some Arctic silver pastes are electrically conductive, I'd honestly not risk it and instead by some MX4, if you want to use AS5, then put special tape around the capacitors to not get paste on them

I aggre with Tiwaz. You should use MX-4 since that is what I used for my gpu and tenos dropped about 3C on idle and around 5C on load. My card is an HD 7850 and only core clock is oc'ed.

Temps with stock paste

35C to 71C

Temps with MX-4 

32C to 65C
