Something is wrong with my GPU

I tried to install drivers with Geforce Experience. It has been sitting here for hours still at "Preparing to install..." but I can't close it. I am afraid to restart my computer in case my GPU becomes more unstable. It also has a weird desktop thing I can't fix.

Restart anyway, try the install again. Don't worry too much if it totally falls over, you can use on board graphics if need be

I had this issue earlier. I just ended the task because there was no security prompt asking me to click yes or no. If you don't have the security prompt, just end the task, and relaunch the program.The second time you go to install the drivers, it should work without any issues. If this doesn't work, then force uninstall NVidia's drivers, redownload GEForce Experience and reinstall the drivers that way.
