you don't need a thermal paste, h50 comes with it

why do you want to buy an i5 now?? 

also, h50 is 120mm cooler, you'd better off with air cooler

I'm reusing the H50 with this build and it doesn't have any paste on it

Nor really,  you'll see a temp increase upwards of 20-30c.  If necessary, use toothpaste.

I would consider a r5 1600 instead as well, way better.
