NEW BUILD

Finally decided on my build, just want people's thoughts as to its longevity or any major changes they'd make. Plan is to have the GPU and monitor for 3-5 years then upgrade which is why the rest of the build is pretty hefty. 1080p 144hz screen for AAA games, plus a bit of e sports.

looks good but the 3gb 1060 will not last alot of games use over 3gb now

Problem is cheapest 1060 6Gb is nearly £80 more, is it worth the extra 40% in cost?

Yes. Most AAA games use way more than 3gb of video memory. If you can't afford that maybe the RX 580 is for you?

I was but thanks, I added it after I copied it across. 

 

I see the Ultrawide only supports 75Hz is the 1060 able to maz that out and use it?

Yup, 6GB 1060 and 2560x1080@75Hz is perfect together.
