My best guess is that you're running out of ram.

BF4 did the same exact thing to me. Upgraded to 16gb and I was fine.

Yesterday I installed a game and it worked fine and I was getting around 75-70 fps. When I launched it today audio and video started freezing for 1 to 2 seconds continuously. Then I cleared the ram by disabling background applications and the freezing almost stopped. Should I upgrade my ram?

well if murdering some processes freed up some ram...just don't have a bunch of stuff left open when it doesn't need to be, like when you're playing a game, just shut down your web browsers and other junk and free up those resources. Seriously who needs to keep a browser full of 30 tabs of porn open all the time? ;)

My configuration is i5 6500, 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz, GTX 1050 Ti and played BF4 at 1080p. But I didn't face any stuttering or freezing in game. Maybe because of DDR4 and higher clock speed of ram?

8 gigs is enough. But how big is your pagefile? From screenshot it seems to be 512Mb, which is way lower than recommended of 4gigs. If you are worried about space it takes on SSD, just move the whole thing to HDD.
