Fire cuda for gaming?

Go to solution Solved by aisle9,

An SSHD will accomplish nothing in terms of gaming performance. IMO, they accomplish nothing in terms of a performance gain at all, just cost more.

That said, yeah, 4TB for $100 seems like an ok deal for any mechanical storage.

Hey guys, I was considering buying a 4 terabyte firecuda drive to store my entire steam Library and a metric butt ton a video recording. Has anybody ran into any problems using these drives for general purpose. I found a 4 terabyte for $100 and it seems like a really good deal

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Thanks. I knew there wouldn't be a performance gain. I just didn't want there to be a lack of performance. For instance, loading a crap ton of games onto a wd purple Drive that would normally be used for video footage
